before the human race was decimated by a mysterious illness?

peace and quiet.

*sigh* no, not really. i was, more often than not, surrounded by the babble of the perpetually vapid and inane.

people so deeply afraid of vanishing from existence or worse, being ignored, if their lips were to ever stop flapping.

i'm somewhat hopeful i'll find it one day though.
