No Doubt

written by Dan
There was a time when I was quite fond of Gwen Stefani. Her punk/pop attitude and in your facenessness was all that I’d hoped for from my shallow pop. Then came that Lady Marmalade song it that (ironically) tragic film ’Moulin Rouge’. Suddenly she’s shaking her moneymaker like there’s no tomorrow and signing away her soul.

She did one song recently about not being able to write a song. I’m not sure whether it was genius satire or not but I sure as hell didn’t like it.

To real tragedy is that now she is, after all her bluster, ’Just a Girl’.
